Santa Clara is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Clara follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Went here for Sunday dinner and was glad to find that they have seating as well, not just takeout. You order at the counter where you see a daily menu and a changing thali menu on blackboard. We got maddur vade (like upma fried), benne dose - masala & plain, masala puri & chai -- all of which were excellent. Vade's green chutney was the best, and the green curry in masala puri was deliciously spicy. Masala dosa does not mean the usual "yellow potato mix", but is actually a red chutney inside the rich dosa (like mysore dosa), and the side potato dish is mild. The white chutney could be a bit spicier. They use earth-friendly plates / cups, so that's a win too. Parking is easy in the lot and prices are reasonable, but portions a little smaller than you'd expect.

A small-ish place with not too many seating - but packs a punch!! π₯Ή Delicious masala puri, churmuri(Bangalore bhel puri)! π€€ I also tried the pulao but didnβt love it. Though, that is because my spouseβs mom makes the best pulao in the world! π Iβll be stopping by to try more dishes when Iβm in the area!

We drove in from the Tri-Valley for evening snacks, and the food was absolutely worth every dollar. Weβve known the owners since their early catering days, and itβs wonderful to see that theyβve carried forward the same authenticity in their food, along with their humility and warm service. Their menu changes by day, so itβs best to check their website or call ahead to see the dayβs offerings. What we especially appreciate is their thoughtful approach of keeping a focused menu with select lunch and dinner specials. It clearly helps them maintain both the quality and authenticity of the food, and it truly shows in every dish.

So glad they opened a dine in! Nostalgic food π Authentic South Indian food. Make sure to check that dayβs menu before you go as it changes everyday. I went hoping for vangibath but they had puliyogare that evening. No complains that was tasty too. Highly recommended!

Authentic North Karnataka cuisine! I really enjoyed the masala puri and madhur vade. The thali was satisfying but left me feeling surprisingly light afterward. Huge kudos to them for using eco-friendly, sustainable food packaging, too. Highly recommend!
